​The Esophageal Temperature Monitoring System ESOTEST provides cost-effective, multi-pole temperature monitoring of the esophagus during ablation procedures. The unique multi-thermocouple electrode design permits rapid, simultaneous temperature assessment of three sites in the esophageal lumen, and its silicone tip and internal stylet facilitates easy insertion. ESOTEST enables physicians to monitor the temperature of the esophagus during left atrial ablation procedures, providing the critical information necessary to adapt therapy as needed.

Three high-precision thermometers allow the measurement and visualization of esophageal temperature  sensed by the ESOTEST probe, for continuous and accurate  temperature monitoring.
Three independent digital temperature readings allow monitoring of  separate esophageal locations. Readings are accurate and allow a rapid monitoring of the esophageal temperature. 
Programmable visual and audible alarm alerts physician when esophageal temperature reaches preset threshold on any of the three electrodes.

7 French body and olive shaped electrodes are designed for patient comfort. 
Atraumatic silicone tip and removable stylet simplify esophageal insertion procedure. 
Both distal and proximal end electrodes can be used for atrial pacing and sensing; the three middle electrodes monitor esophageal temperature in three locations, providing more informations to adjust therapy as needed.
Shrouded pin connectors provide a standard interface for recording systems and other EP equipments. 
Once positioned, the probe proves to be extremely stable, and its adaptation to the variable geometry of the esophagus is ideal.
